Lead QA Engineer at JustFund

We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. At JustFund, we are redefining philanthropy through our nonprofit grantmaking platform, which was established by organizers and funders of color to center trust and equity. Since our founding in 2017, we have built the nation's first common grant application platform to simplify how funding is distributed to social justice movements. We work alongside notable partners like Decolonizing Wealth and the Omidyar Network, and as we grow our product offerings, we need a dedicated professional to help us ensure the highest standards of quality across our platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy by writing detailed test cases for new features and performing manual testing to ensure we meet our sprint deadlines.
• Collaborate with our DevOps team to build, deploy, and maintain our automated test suite, while expanding coverage for our existing product functionality.
• Monitor key performance indicators, such as regression and user acceptance testing pass rates, to provide actionable recommendations for ongoing quality improvements.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a field like Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Approximately 8 to 10 years of experience in testing B2B SaaS environments across web and mobile platforms.
• Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Technical proficiency with tools such as Jest, Enzyme, Circle CI, Jira, and MySQL, along with familiarity with analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for social justice, philanthropy, or movement building.

What we offer
