About the Role
We are searching for a Lead QA Automation Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will act as a key member of our Testing Center of Excellence. You will take ownership of product features from a test signoff perspective, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality. This is an on-site position where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver transformational value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and feature testing.
- Manage the creation of test documentation and procedures while tracking quality assurance metrics to ensure product excellence.
- Collaborate with scrum teams to implement automation footprints throughout each sprint and release cycle.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of proven experience in both manual and automation testing, with a focus on developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong technical expertise in Java and Selenium, along with hands-on experience in API testing using Rest Assured.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as qTest, Jira, JMeter, and Load Runner.
- A solid understanding of Agile methodology, the software testing lifecycle, and the software development lifecycle.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent field.
- Exceptional logical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving root causes of issues.
Location
This position is based in India, with office locations in Bangalore, Pune, and Ahmedabad.
