Imagine a small but mighty team of builders, engineers, and dreamers who started in 2018 with one clear goal: cut the 39 percent of global carbon emissions that come from buildings. That is the daily mission at Infogrid, and every product we ship moves us closer to it.
The opportunity
As our Lead Product Manager for the Energy and Sustainability portfolio, you will act as the general manager for this line of business. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will set the vision, steer the roadmap, and own the commercial results that turn smart-building technology into measurable carbon reductions. The role is fully remote and open to candidates in the US or the UK.
A day in the life
- You shape the long-term product vision and roadmap, then translate it into clear priorities that engineering, design, data science, sales, and finance all rally behind.
- You spend time with customers and the sales team, uncovering real-world pain points that become the next features or entirely new offerings, while keeping revenue and sustainability KPIs on track.
- You partner with data scientists to explore AI and machine-learning applications that make IoT sensor data even more valuable, then champion those solutions both inside the company and out in the market.
Who you are
You bring several years of senior or lead product-management experience and a track record of guiding cross-functional teams from idea to shipped product. An entrepreneurial mindset comes naturally to you; you thrive when you have both autonomy and accountability. You are collaborative and curious, and you enjoy the fast pace of a startup. Experience in proptech, energy, or hardware-based IoT solutions is a plus, as is previous ownership of commercial KPIs in a “product general manager” model. Fluency in English is required.
Why you'll love it here
You will join early enough to shape both the product and your own role, backed by talented teammates and a clear mission. We offer competitive pay plus equity, healthcare, vision, and dental coverage, a 401k, fully remote and flexible working, monthly paid personal-development days, and an annual carbon-offset program of roughly twelve tonnes per employee. Offices in London and Washington, DC, are available if you ever want a change of scenery, and we gather in person several times a year to celebrate progress and plan what comes next.
