👩💻 The Role
As a Lead Product Manager at Headout, you'll take charge of building our product portfolio within one of our key pods: Acquisition, Discovery, Conversion, or Managed marketplace. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, you'll leverage your expertise to craft compelling strategies and develop innovative products that drive growth and enhance user experiences.
Your strategic leadership and collaborative approach will be essential in driving product innovation and achieving our goals at Headout. Depending on the pod you work with, your focus area will be as follows:
- Acquisition: You will spearhead efforts to increase channel diversification and elevate the share of organic search within our acquisition strategy. By implementing innovative tactics and strategies, you will drive growth and expand our customer base.
- Discovery: You will lead initiatives to architect and develop products that optimize the discovery experience for users. By leveraging user insights and data-driven approaches, you will enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Conversion: Your role will involve maximizing user conversion rates and developing conversion levers to drive scale in new business areas such as cruises and airport transfers. Through experimentation and optimization, you will identify opportunities to enhance conversion rates and drive business growth.
- Managed marketplace: You will be responsible for building products that enable best-in-class self-serve capabilities and create efficient systems for internal and external teams to manage their products on Headout's platform. By streamlining processes and enhancing productivity, you will empower teams to deliver exceptional results.

- Understand their target market deeply to produce high-quality products.
- Synthesize the product requirements into actionable product features + Make tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights and experimentation.
- Takes ownership of the projects as per their mandate. Gain users' insights and apply them to generate more value from the product.
- Writes a clear PRD that details the problem statement, solution & implementation details, and success metrics.
- Mentor the pod team and ensure all team members involved are aware of the team strategy, initiatives, and priorities.
💝 What skills & experience do you need?
- Possesses a minimum of 6 years of product management experience, particularly in the E-commerce sector.
- Has 2 years of proven experience in both managing teams and overseeing product development.
- Demonstrates a successful track record in building consumer-facing products at a significant scale.
- Experience working in a metrics and experimentation-driven organizational environment.
- Exhibits strong customer empathy, blending user research with data to craft a prioritized product roadmap.
- Proficient in authoring PRDs and Use Case Documentation to guide and facilitate product development.
