In the United States, over 30 million patients every year face a broken system where care is still managed through paper and fax. This outdated process leads to an 83% error rate, causing delayed discharges and unnecessary readmissions. At Parachute Health, we are changing this by building a digital platform that is 10 times faster than the current standard. As the leading post-acute software provider, we connect a network of over 3,000 supplier locations and 370,000 clinicians to ensure patients receive the life-saving equipment they need. We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our remote-first team and help us transform the world of post-acute care by making digital ordering simple and transparent.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead our Payor Strategy to enable insurance providers to offer a seamless and efficient durable medical equipment experience for their members.
- You will manage a team of product managers and designers to frame complex problems and craft innovative, 0 to 1 product solutions.
- You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and external stakeholders to define roadmaps, set measurable goals, and drive the delivery of high-impact product experiences.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a seasoned expert who understands the intersection of healthcare technology and business. You should have at least 7 years of experience in product management or engineering, with at least 4 of those years specifically within the healthcare sector. Your background should include:
- Deep knowledge of payor workflows, including claims management, electronic prior authorization, and eligibility verification.
- Strong technical proficiency, allowing you to influence architectural decisions and solve complex technical challenges with partners.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders by anchoring your decisions in strategy and vision.
- A proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where you can create clarity and drive results through an agile methodology.
- Fluency in English and the ability to travel approximately once per quarter to visit customer sites.
What you'll get
The base salary for this position ranges from 185,000 USD to 225,000 USD. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive package designed to support your well-being and professional growth:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Equity compensation.
- A remote-first work environment with support for your home office, including an annual stipend and internet coverage.
- Coworking space reimbursement if you prefer an office setting.
- An annual learning budget to support your professional development.
