Valence is a Series A B2B SaaS company backed by Insight Partners that is pioneering the first generative AI leadership coach for large enterprises. We are transforming how global organizations like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and General Mills approach learning and development, and we are looking for a Lead Product Designer to help us shape the future of leadership in the age of AI.
Responsibilities
- Direct the design strategy and execution for our platform to ensure it remains intuitive, effective, and visually compelling.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to build designs that meet business objectives and user needs.
- Interface with clients to gather insights on their pain points and translate those findings into impactful design solutions.
- Build and maintain robust design systems that allow our teams to scale with speed and consistency.
- Mentor internal team members and manage external vendors to establish high standards for design excellence.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in product design, ideally as a lead or founding designer within a fast-growing B2B SaaS company.
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern prototyping tools.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design for complex, data-intensive applications.
- A solid understanding of technical product development and the ability to work closely with engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
