We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team in a full-time capacity. At Pull Systems, we empower electric vehicle manufacturers to manage their fleets through advanced automation. Our flagship platform, Quality Studio, helps engineers detect failure patterns in the field and proactively address issues. We were founded in 2023 as a partnership between Porsche and the UP.Labs incubator, and we are backed by leading investors in the mobility sector. In this role, you will guide our design team to turn intricate technical concepts into seamless, intuitive experiences for our users.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex data and requirements into user-friendly design solutions by partnering closely with our engineering, product, and machine learning teams.
- Take full ownership of the design lifecycle, which includes planning and executing user research, creating high-quality interfaces, and managing projects from initial ideation through to final implementation.
- Define our long-term design strategy and help establish the operational practices and creative culture here at Pull Systems.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience in product or UX/UI design, supported by a portfolio of impactful work.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role leading individual contributors.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments where you must navigate constant uncertainty.
- Subject matter expertise in areas such as mobility, manufacturing, or enterprise SaaS.
- Experience working with technical user requirements, data visualization, and complex chart interfaces.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with customers to identify their specific needs.
