Since 2014, our team at the Stellar Development Foundation has been dedicated to growing the Stellar network, an open-source platform that supports developers and companies worldwide. We are currently looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our mission-driven team and help shape the future of our on-chain tools and products.
What you'll be doing
- You will manage other designers and provide leadership for product design initiatives across our entire organization.
- You will conduct user research and usability testing to validate your design decisions while ensuring our products are beautiful, valuable, and easy to use.
- You will maintain and scale our design system to ensure consistency across all our internal and external platforms.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone with a strong background in design who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 7 years of professional experience in product design.
- A robust portfolio that demonstrates your ability to handle end-to-end design projects.
- Expert-level proficiency with modern design tools like Figma.
- Deep familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present your work effectively to stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.

What you'll get
We offer a competitive base salary for this full-time, on-site position ranging from $190,000 to $230,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive the following benefits:
