Lead Product Designer at Pull.systems

We are thrilled that you are interested in joining Pull Systems. We are a well-funded company that emerged from the UP.Labs incubator in 2023, specifically formed through a partnership with Porsche. Our mission is to help electric vehicle manufacturers manage their fleets through increased automation. Our flagship product, Quality Studio, gives engineers the tools they need to spot failure patterns in the field, allowing them to prevent issues before they occur. We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team and help us turn complex data into intuitive, high-impact experiences for our users.

What you'll be doing

• You will translate complex technical requirements into simple and intuitive design solutions by working closely with our engineering, product, and machine learning teams.
• You will take full ownership of the design process, which includes planning and executing user research, synthesizing findings, and shipping high-quality interface designs.
• You will help define our internal design culture and operational practices while collaborating with cross-functional partners to shape our overall product strategy.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in design and leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience as a Product or UX/UI Designer, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates your impact.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing and leading teams of individual contributors.
• Proven experience working in fast-paced startup environments where you are comfortable navigating uncertainty.
• Subject matter expertise in mobility, manufacturing, or enterprise SaaS.
• The ability to handle detailed data and complex chart interfaces while effectively engaging with customers to understand their specific needs.
• Fluency in English.

What you'll get

This is a full-time, hybrid position. While you will have the flexibility of hybrid work, you should be able to travel occasionally to our offices in Palo Alto. We welcome applications from anyone in the Pacific time zone who can accommodate these travel requirements.
