Pull Systems enables electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers to manage their fleets with increasing levels of automation. Our Quality Studio provides EV engineers with efficient workflows to identify failure patterns in the field and prevent problems before they happen. Users can also transform these insights into vehicle design improvements, driver experience optimizations, risk mitigation strategies and other critical actions.

About the Role
As a Lead Product Designer, you will lead the product design team and play a pivotal role in translating complex concepts into simple, user-friendly experiences. Collaborating with our Product, Engineering and Machine Learning leadership, you'll run the design process from inception to delivery, ensuring high-quality products that align with user needs and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Simplify complexity into intuitive design solutions, working closely with product, engineering, data science, other cross-functional teams, and users.
- Plan, execute and synthesize user research activities.
- Design and ship high-quality interface designs, taking ownership of the entire design process from ideation to implementation.
- Shape design strategy by collaborating with cross-functional partners to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Help build and define the design culture and operational practices at Pull Systems.
Qualifications
- 6+ years as a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer with a portfolio showcasing impactful work.
- 3+ years of experience as a manager leading teams of individual contributors
- Experience with start-ups and highly iterative environments where uncertainty is constant
- Subject matter expertise in mobility, manufacturing or enterprise SaaS
- Comfort work with data, detailed chart interfaces and technical user requirements.
- Ability to engage with and manage customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Details
This position is hybrid, with some routine travel to the Pull Systems offices in Palo Alto. Any candidates who work in Pacific time zone hours are welcome to apply if they can accommodate the occasional travel requirement.
