Help us improve our administrative systems for customer, contract, and product management and make a tangible difference for over half a million consumers. We are looking for a Lead .NET Developer to join our dedicated team in Rotterdam and help us drive the sustainable energy transition in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex technical challenges into clear, understandable solutions.
- Elevate code quality and provide strategic vision for our software landscape.
- Mentor and inspire colleagues, fostering a culture of feedback and professional growth.
- Develop and maintain microservices using C# and .NET 8.
- Modernize our systems by transitioning legacy applications to microservices and preparing for Azure Cloud.
- Collaborate on the development of our central headless CMS, Umbraco, and our primary website.
- Work within a cross-functional team, including backend and frontend developers, UX designers, and a product owner, using Scrum methodology.
Must-haves
- A completed degree in ICT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development using C# .NET.
- Extensive experience in a web development environment, preferably with Umbraco.
- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring junior developers.
- Strong command of the Dutch and English languages.
- Current residency in the Netherlands or plans to relocate here shortly.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ and MassTransit for messaging.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as Vue and Nuxt.
- Knowledge of quality assurance tools like SonarCloud and EF Core.
