Role at a glance
We are seeking a Lead Mobile Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world. As a lead-level hire, you will take full ownership of our mobile strategy and architecture, making this an ideal role for someone who thrives on high-impact, greenfield projects.
Your impact
- Take charge of the entire mobile development lifecycle by building the first version of our application using React Native.
- Act as the primary technical lead, guiding and mentoring our talented web engineers as they transition into mobile development.
- Establish the foundational architecture, tooling, and core components to ensure our app is secure, scalable, and high-performing.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including 3 years specifically focused on React Native.
- A proven track record of shipping successful applications to both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- A deep understanding of the nuances between iOS and Android platforms, performance tuning, and mobile-specific architecture.
- An AI-native mindset, meaning you regularly leverage tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot to accelerate your workflow.
- Strong communication skills in English and a passion for mentoring others.
- A startup-oriented approach where you prioritize taking ownership and moving quickly.
