Lead Information Security Analyst at Nucleus Financial

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Lead Information Security Analyst to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will help us maintain our reputation as a trusted partner by managing information security risks, assessing our capabilities, and leading a dedicated team of security analysts.

Responsibilities

• Manage an information security analysis team while producing clear metrics and reporting to track our security posture.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external outsource partners to document security controls and conduct tabletop exercises to validate our risk assumptions.
• Support audit and due diligence activities to demonstrate our security capabilities to regulators and other interested parties.

Requirements

We are looking for a professional with significant experience in information security, ideally within the financial services sector. You should be a strong communicator who can translate complex security concepts for various business areas. Key qualifications include:

• Proven ability to build and maintain a structured approach to risk management, such as an ISMS.
• Experience managing supply chain security risks through vendor assessments and due diligence.
• Practical knowledge of conducting threat modeling and security maturity assessments, ideally using the NIST Cyber Security Framework.
• Demonstrated experience in obtaining or maintaining certifications like ISO27001 or CyberEssentials+.
• Strong project management skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
