About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Front-End Engineer to join us on a contractor basis for a three-month term. In this role, you will help oversee the technical direction of our web and mobile applications. You will work within a fast-paced, agile environment to deliver innovative solutions that help our users shop with purpose while ensuring our platforms remain scalable, secure, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and design teams to lead the creation and delivery of new features and functionality across our web and mobile applications.
- Establish and document development standards and best practices for UI development to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Provide operational leadership and production support while mentoring other engineers to accelerate our development cycles.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record in lead or architectural roles.
- Deep expertise in modern front-end technologies, including TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Tailwind, and Capacitor.
- Strong experience working within fast-paced, innovative SaaS startup or scale-up environments.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead, inspire, and partner effectively across various departments.
Location
This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere.
