We are Sourcescrub, a company that helps finance professionals find, research, and connect with privately held companies through high-quality data and modern business-development tools. We are hiring a Lead Engineer to guide our globally distributed team in building and improving the search and recommendation features that power our customer platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineers who build and maintain customer-facing services and platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable code in .NET and Angular, supported by automated tests.
- Work within an agile Scrum process that includes continuous integration, code reviews, version control, and automated builds.
- Define engineering strategies, plans, and goals across multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
- Champion the creation of scalable, highly available systems.
- Spot opportunities to improve team processes and raise overall productivity.
- Keep up with current development practices and share relevant knowledge with the team.
- Travel quarterly to meet with the engineering team in person.
Must-haves
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least five years building customer-facing data search and analytics SaaS products.
- At least two years leading projects, teams, or initiatives.
- Proven experience architecting and designing robust, scalable cloud applications.
- Hands-on experience with .NET and JavaScript.
- Experience collaborating with offshore teams.
- Strong communication skills that work across all organizational levels, including the President and CEO.
- Track record of delivering significant value to clients and managing expectations.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in English.
