What you'll be doing
- Lead a squad of 4 to 6 engineers, taking full responsibility for technical delivery and ensuring the team remains focused on our core objectives.
- Design resilient, scalable, and event-driven systems while breaking down complex problems into manageable, incremental deliverables.
- Mentor and coach your team members to support their professional growth while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into high-quality technical outcomes.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a lead engineer who is comfortable working in a hybrid environment within the United Kingdom. You should have a strong command of the English language and proficiency in the following technologies and practices:
- Programming Languages: Python, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
- Frontend & Data: React, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and MySQL.
- Infrastructure & Tools: AWS, GCP, and Docker.
- Mindset: You should be a broad thinker who embraces a DevOps culture, prioritizes simple designs over complex ones, and utilizes Generative AI to boost productivity.
