Role at a glance
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position where you will provide technical direction and mentorship to our engineering group. You can perform this role from anywhere, as we operate as a fully remote organization.
Your impact
- Lead and mentor a team of talented DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure using modern tools like Terraform, while overseeing robust CI/CD pipelines in environments like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Collaborate across departments to translate business requirements into secure, reliable infrastructure solutions that align with our operational goals.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in engineering and a passion for modernizing infrastructure. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, with 5 or more years specifically in DevOps leadership roles.
- Expertise in Azure or AWS environments, with a preference for Azure proficiency.
- Hands-on mastery of Infrastructure as Code, scripting with Python or PowerShell, and deep experience with version control and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a primary technical mentor for your team.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, as is familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare IT standards.
