The opportunity
We are looking for a Lead Desktop Support professional to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be the face of our IT Operations team, serving as a primary point of contact for our employees. You will play a vital part in ensuring our internal technology runs smoothly, providing high-level support for our hardware and software environments while mentoring the team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on solving technical puzzles and enjoys building strong relationships across the organization.
A day in the life
- You will manage incoming support tickets, ensuring that every user receives a timely, effective, and courteous resolution to their technical issues.
- You will oversee the provisioning and deployment of hardware, including laptops and desktop applications, while maintaining our office technology like printers, A/V systems, and wireless infrastructure.
- You will act as a technical leader by documenting solutions, creating knowledge-base guides, and escalating complex issues to Tier 3 staff when necessary.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in desktop support and leadership. You communicate clearly in English and possess a deep technical background that allows you to troubleshoot with ease. Your toolkit includes:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10, and macOS environments.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing and workflow management.
- Proficiency with modern management and security tools such as Intune and Carbon.
- A strong grasp of communication platforms like Webex and Microsoft Teams.
- A collaborative spirit, a Bachelor’s degree, and a drive to keep learning through technical certifications.
