What is this role?
We are seeking our first Lead Data Scientist to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a lead-level position based in Los Angeles, though we offer a hybrid work environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our long-term data strategy and helping us use information to extend the health span of our members.
What will you do?
- Design measurement frameworks and test hypotheses to support our product and marketing teams in building better features.
- Collaborate with our clinical outcomes team to publish studies that demonstrate the positive health impact of our platform.
- Partner with leadership to tackle complex, cross-functional business challenges using data-driven insights.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in data or clinical settings, ideally within a high-performing healthcare organization or startup. We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in Python and SAS, and who understands how to manage large datasets, including healthcare claims data. You should be comfortable working with uncertainty, eager to collaborate with subject matter experts, and driven by the ambition to build something significant in the healthtech space. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
