Lead Data Engineer at Sprintfwd

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on designing and expanding our product and data warehouses to support advanced client analytics.
• Build and maintain scalable data warehousing solutions and ETL pipelines across various cloud and hybrid environments.
• Manage large-scale data transformations using tools like Apache Spark and AWS Glue to ensure efficient, cost-effective processing.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a passion for Big Data. We look for the following qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, specifically with large-scale data pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Google Cloud Dataflow.
• Experience working with modern cloud databases like Snowflake and utilizing Git for version control.
• A solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing best practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
