The opportunity
We are looking for a Lead Associate Lead Cyber Security to join our team in Sri Lanka. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our digital assets. You will lead our Information Security team, manage our security operations across all business units, and ensure that we remain fully compliant with regional regulations. By developing and implementing forward-thinking security strategies, you will help us proactively identify risks and maintain the trust of the millions of pet owners who rely on our platforms every day.
A day in the life
- You will conduct deep-dive security testing on our web applications and products to find and fix vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.
- You will oversee the security of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that our services remain protected through the implementation of industry-leading best practices.
- You will lead our response to security incidents, such as phishing attempts, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate impact and prevent future occurrences.
Who you are
You are a seasoned security professional with a background in leading teams within complex, multi-geographical environments. You have a strong grasp of both functional and logical security vulnerabilities, along with deep expertise in cloud security. You are comfortable working across Windows, Mac, and Unix-based systems, and you have a proven track record of developing and enforcing robust security policies.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or a Higher Diploma paired with relevant certifications.
- Recognized security certifications such as SSCP, CEH, OSCP, or CISA.
- Fluency in English to effectively communicate security strategies and lead your team.
- A proactive mindset, utilizing open-source intelligence (OSINT) to stay ahead of potential threats.
