What you bring

We are seeking a Lead Android Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will need at least 48 months of experience in a leadership capacity to guide our mobile strategy and mentor our engineering team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Setting the technical direction and architectural standards for our Android platform.
• Leading a team of three Android engineers to deliver high-quality features across our banking products.
• Writing production-ready code while balancing your leadership duties to ensure our apps remain reliable and secure.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in fintech and mobile engineering. You must be highly proficient in Kotlin and modern development practices, including Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Coroutines. We rely on tools like Hilt, Dagger, Espresso, and JUnit to maintain our high standards. You should be comfortable working with REST APIs and Git workflows. We value candidates who are excellent communicators in English, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record of managing direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
