We’re now bringing AI into the mix to make our platform even more personal and powerful, and we need a lead engineer to shape that future.
Role at a glance
You’ll join us full-time as our Lead AI/ML Engineer, working remotely from anywhere in the Americas. This is a senior-level role where you’ll guide an early-stage AI project from first idea to live product while collaborating closely with our engineering and design teams.
Your impact
- Own the AI Tutor project end-to-end, steering it from early concepts through deployment while hitting quality, timeline, and budget goals.
- Shape how we collect, annotate, and use our growing library of classroom video so the data fuels models that capture great teaching.
- Build, train, and refine AI/ML models that understand and replicate effective instruction, then integrate them smoothly into our existing learning platform.
What you'll need
A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a closely related field, plus at least five years leading AI/ML projects-ideally in education technology. You bring hands-on fluency with TensorFlow or PyTorch, strong Python skills, and deep experience handling large datasets for model training. You’ve led teams to successful outcomes, communicate technical ideas clearly to any audience, and thrive in fast-moving, early-stage environments. English fluency is required.
