The role
We are seeking a Senior Lead Actuarial Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in the United States, designed for an experienced professional who is ready to take on a significant role in shaping the future of insurance technology. You will be instrumental in applying advanced statistical methods to our core products, ensuring our models remain the gold standard in the industry.
Core responsibilities
- Identify and implement appropriate statistical methods to drive comprehensive analysis and model development.
- Conduct ongoing stress testing of internal models to ensure they meet customer demands while proactively identifying bugs or edge cases.
- Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in quantitative analysis and a passion for problem-solving. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics, or mathematics.
- Two to four years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on technical proficiency with Python, SQL, Tableau, and VBA.
- A high level of independence, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English and the ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative team environments.
