The role

We are looking for an experienced Laravel Developer Team Lead to join our backend team on a full-time basis. This is a leadership position based in Slovenia, where you will guide our technical strategy and mentor our developers. We operate in a hybrid environment, balancing the benefits of in-person collaboration in our modern offices with the flexibility of remote work.

Core responsibilities

• Lead and organize our team of Laravel developers to ensure project success.
• Define and track individual and team goals while reporting on performance and progress to leadership.
• Drive the backend development of our internal systems, focusing on clean architecture, automation of business processes, and the maintenance of robust web applications.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have over 5 years of experience working in production environments. We are looking for a candidate who brings the following qualifications:

• Deep expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework, with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming and architectural best practices.
• A commitment to writing clean, well-documented code and a proven ability to perform thorough code reviews.
• Experience using quality standards and tools such as PSR-12, PHPCS, and PHPMD.
• The ability to work with high autonomy, making technical decisions that ensure system consistency and quality.
• Proficiency in English to collaborate effectively within our international context.
