What is this role?
We are looking for a Lab IT Support Associate to join us on a contractor basis. This is a mid-level position that requires an on-site presence at our headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between our scientific teams and our IT infrastructure, ensuring that our laboratory operations remain efficient, secure, and fully compliant with industry regulations.
What will you do?
- Deploy, configure, and maintain critical laboratory IT systems, including instrument PCs, data acquisition software, and enterprise platforms like ELN and LIMS.
- Ensure all lab systems strictly adhere to GxP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements by following established change management and validation procedures.
- Provide high-quality Tier 2 support for escalated technical issues involving desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and collaboration tools for both scientific and business users.

- An Associate degree and at least 2 years of IT support experience specifically within the life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Strong technical proficiency in Windows, macOS, networking, Azure AD, and Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with lab informatics systems and scientific instrument integration.
- A solid understanding of regulatory standards such as GxP, GLP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, a strong customer service mindset, and the initiative to work independently while collaborating across functions.
- Fluency in English.
