Kids Products Design Lead at Novakidschool

At NovaKid, we deliver online English education to more than 100,000 children aged 4–12 across more than 50 countries. We are seeking a Kids Products Design Lead who will set the creative standard for every visual and interactive element children encounter in our learning products.

Key outcomes

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of animators, sound designers, UX/UI designers, and artists to deliver engaging lesson content and kids-area features.
• Establish a unified visual identity that strengthens brand consistency across all products and platforms.
• Define clear standards, workflows, and quality benchmarks that keep asset production efficient and reliable.
• Introduce and champion AI-powered creative tools so the team can produce high-quality work faster and at greater scale.
• Partner with Product and Content teams to translate learning goals into joyful, age-appropriate designs.
• Balance creative ambition with operational priorities, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Shape the long-term direction of the kids-facing design function through structured planning and team development.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a senior UX/UI design role within product, animation, gaming, edtech, children’s media, or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Expertise in art direction, visual storytelling, animation production, and digital asset creation.
• Proven ability to create and maintain brand consistency across multiple products or platforms.
• Practical experience applying AI tools to generate visual or audio assets in real production settings.
• Track record of introducing new tools and workflows that improve speed and efficiency.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both creative and non-creative colleagues.
• Fluency in English.
• Genuine enthusiasm for designing imaginative, high-quality experiences for children.
