What you'll be doing
- You will design, develop, and support our data collection systems while collaborating directly with our front office traders and quantitative researchers.
- You will build and optimize data ingestion processes to curate and store massive volumes of information from both internal trading platforms and external market data sources.
- You will create robust data access frameworks to power real-time dashboards, execution analytics, and market microstructure research.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have at least two years of professional experience in data or analytics development and a strong command of the English language. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills:
- Strong proficiency in KDB+/q.
- Practical experience working with Linux and bash scripting.
- Familiarity with Level 1 and Level 2 market data.
- Experience managing, analyzing, and visualizing big data.
- Understanding of continuous integration practices.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Python, Java, Kafka, Redis, Docker, or cloud-based KDB+ deployment.
