What you bring

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, California. This full-time role serves as a vital bridge between our hardware and software departments, where you will focus on building robust systems that keep our operations running smoothly. Your daily work will involve a variety of engineering tasks, including:

• Automating Linux device configuration and the bring-up process.
• Developing diagnostic tools and scripts for rigorous hardware testing.
• Managing and organizing our device database to track serial numbers and system status.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in Python and Bash scripting within a Linux environment. We value candidates who possess a keen interest in embedded software and have experience interfacing with hardware. While not required, familiarity with AWS is considered a significant asset. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguous problems, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can write maintainable, scalable code and communicate effectively with our cross-functional engineering teams.
