About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Development Team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this position you will design, build and maintain features for our core product, working alongside experienced engineers who will support your growth while you contribute real code from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain clean, reliable code that meets agreed technical specifications and quality standards.
- Help diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring our customers experience minimal disruption.
- Run tests and reviews so every release meets the team’s high bar for performance and usability.
Requirements
To be successful you will bring:
- Hands-on experience with .NET 4.0/4.5 and C#, or a comparable modern stack.
- Strong front-end skills using HTML, CSS and contemporary JavaScript to create responsive, intuitive interfaces.
- Clear, efficient coding habits and the initiative to debug, refactor and improve existing work.
- A genuine interest in user experience and a collaborative approach suited to a fast-moving environment.
- Fluency in English.
Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Docker, Redis or Cosmos DB is helpful but not essential.
Location
This role is based in New Zealand and requires you to work on-site with the local team.
