Telnyx is looking for a Junior Software Engineer
We are Telnyx, and we are building the future of global connectivity by architecting a private, multi-cloud IP network and providing hyperlocal edge technology through intuitive APIs. As a profitable and stable company, we are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our team and help us modernize communication infrastructure for users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Design and build developer-friendly APIs.
- Develop, test, and deploy applications that power our global communications services.
- Optimize our systems by identifying and resolving challenges related to latency, scalability, and performance.
- Create internal tools to automate production workflows and improve efficiency.
Must-haves
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in software development using an object-oriented language.
- Practical experience building web applications with Python.
- Comfortable working with relational databases in large-scale environments.
- Experience operating within high-availability, mission-critical production systems.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture patterns.
- Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Jenkins, Prometheus, or RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency in English.
