What is this role?
We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join us on a full-time, hybrid basis in Latvia. This is a mid-level position perfect for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and wants to gain broad exposure to the Internet of Things, SaaS, and video streaming technologies. You will be an integral part of our video feature team, helping us refine our video monitoring solutions and deliver high-quality products to our users.
What will you do?
- Design, implement, and test new software features while continuously improving our existing product suite.
- Analyze functional requirements and product specifications to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards.
- Collaborate closely with our Quality Assurance team to create effective test plans and ensure the successful deployment of updates.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in software development and a degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field. We are looking for a tenacious problem solver who is comfortable working in a team-oriented environment. Key requirements include:
- A solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A passion for web development, backend systems, and automation.
- An analytical mindset with rigorous attention to detail.
