What is this role?

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This is a full-time, on-site position designed for someone early in their career who is eager to learn. We place a high value on long-term training and professional development, so we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us over the long haul.

What will you do?

• Partner with our senior developers to learn the ins and outs of software development within the automated trading industry.
• Write, maintain, and support high-quality code for our production automated trading components.
• Build deep expertise in software engineering principles, C++, and the mechanics of high-performance trading systems while collaborating across our technology, trading, and finance departments.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and a genuine interest in the intersection of software, math, and financial markets. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A degree in a technical or industry-related field, such as a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate.
• Proficiency in programming, specifically with C++, C#, or Python. Experience with Linux scripting is considered a plus.
• A solid understanding of computing, mathematics, probability, statistics, and finance.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• A dedicated work ethic and a commitment to being physically present at our office in Aguadilla.
