We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our backend team and help us build the future of electronic trading.
What you'll be doing
- You will design and develop components for our electronic trading system, working with microservices from the ground up.
- You will build new features and product improvements while ensuring that everything you create is secure, performant, and well-tested.
- You will collaborate with a team of driven professionals to maintain high standards for our codebase and system architecture.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in software engineering and a proactive mindset. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Excellent programming skills in Python, with the ability to learn new languages quickly. Experience with Rust is considered a significant plus.
- A solid understanding of computer architecture and network fundamentals.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and a commitment to clean, maintainable code, including the use of TDD.
- A proven ability to build scalable systems and deliver real-time data over the web.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- A degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred, along with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
