We are looking for a Junior SOC Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. Responsibilities
- Verify and triage incoming alerts from our SIEM, EDR, and XDR systems to ensure our infrastructure remains secure.
- Manage incident response workflows by following established procedures and escalating complex security cases to senior team members.
- Assist the broader security team in daily operations, including the development of current tools and the implementation of new security solutions.
Requirements
- At least one year of professional experience working in a SOC environment at an L1 level.
- Strong proficiency in both English and Polish, with a minimum B2 level of fluency.
- Solid understanding of incident response processes and threat analysis techniques.
- Practical experience with Splunk Enterprise Security and SentinelOne.
- A firm grasp of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTPS, and DNS, along with familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.
- An interest in automation and scripting, specifically using Python or BASH, is highly valued.
