Key outcomes

• Monitor our systems and networks proactively and reactively to stay ahead of emerging security threats.
• Develop security monitoring solutions while enhancing our intrusion detection and response capabilities.
• Manage the security incident lifecycle by analyzing our SIEM to identify and remediate potential issues.
• Document all monitoring and response activities using our internal case management and ticketing systems.
• Analyze event data to detect, investigate, and report on successful or attempted security compromises.
• Assist internal staff with helpdesk requests, including user access management, onboarding, and offboarding procedures.
• Support the implementation of regulatory and information security policies to ensure our company remains protected.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Practical background in Security Operations, including experience with blue teaming, penetration testing, vulnerability disclosure, or CTF competitions.
• Proficiency with Linux and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, BASH, or PowerShell.
• A solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and common attack tactics or techniques.
• Familiarity with endpoint protection, anti-malware tools, and compliance software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A high level of integrity and a dedicated work ethic.
