We are NY State Solar, a rapidly expanding leader in the solar energy sector and one of the top-rated providers in New York. We partner with industry-leading manufacturers to deliver premium components and innovative financing solutions, managing the entire solar conversion process for our customers. We are currently looking for an energetic and creative Junior Recruiter to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Source and engage potential candidates through social media, job boards, and search engines.
- Review resumes and pre-screen applicants to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
- Work closely with the Hiring Manager to define specific role requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews while serving as the main point of contact for candidates.
- Manage email communications and follow-ups throughout the hiring process.
- Proactively seek referrals to help fill challenging positions.
- Maintain accurate records of active and passive candidates within our internal databases and Applicant Tracking System.
- Anticipate future hiring needs and track key recruiting metrics like time-to-fill and source of hire.
Must-haves
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask effectively.
- A collaborative spirit combined with the ability to work well independently.
- A genuine passion for building relationships and connecting with people.
