We are NY State Solar, a rapidly expanding leader in the solar energy sector and one of the top-rated providers in New York. We partner with industry-leading manufacturers to deliver premium components and innovative financing, managing the entire solar conversion process for our customers. We are currently looking for an energetic and creative Junior Recruiter to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Source and engage potential talent using social media, job boards, and search engines.
- Review resumes and pre-screen candidates to ensure a strong fit.
- Work closely with hiring managers to define specific role requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews while serving as the main point of contact for applicants.
- Manage candidate communication through email and follow-up outreach.
- Generate referrals from internal and external networks for challenging roles.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of active and passive candidates within our internal databases and applicant tracking system.
- Proactively identify upcoming hiring needs and report on key recruitment metrics.
- Provide ongoing support for our applicant tracking systems.
Must-haves
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite.
- A proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
- The capacity to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- A passion for building relationships and driving meaningful conversations.
