We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Python Developer to join our agile, fast-paced team and help us build cutting-edge technology for our users.
Key outcomes
- Develop and maintain the back-end architecture of our marketing analytics platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design and implement new features to enhance our product offerings.
- Create clean, well-documented, and maintainable code while utilizing Pytest for thorough testing.
- Optimize our services to guarantee a fast and responsive experience for our customers.
- Identify and resolve technical issues through effective troubleshooting and debugging.
- Work closely with our front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between server-side logic and the user interface.
- Contribute to the quality of our codebase by participating in regular code reviews.
- Engage in our Agile development process, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
- Share knowledge with your teammates to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in Python back-end development, preferably with the Django framework, or a strong foundational knowledge of Python.
- Current enrollment in a higher education program, specifically in your third or fourth year of a Computer Science degree.
- Proficiency in working within a Linux environment.
- Practical experience with database technologies including PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, and NoSQL.
- A strong mathematical background and a genuine passion for software engineering.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a team distributed across multiple time zones.
- A curious mindset and a commitment to staying updated on industry best practices.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working on high-load or BigData projects and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with design patterns, algorithms, OOP, SOLID principles, and Domain Driven Design.
- Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with asyncio or similar asynchronous frameworks.
- Experience working within a Continuous Integration environment.
