We are currently looking for a Junior Product Development Specialist to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity.
Key outcomes
- Support the creation of new product concepts and evaluate their technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with our production teams and process technologists to define necessary product properties.
- Research and suggest innovative production techniques.
- Conduct testing on ingredients, materials, and various types of production equipment.
- Create prototypes and samples for internal assessment and benchmarking.
- Design and test new molds, tools, and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all products adhere to strict quality, legal, and company standards.
- Analyze production efficiency and quality to maintain high safety standards.
- Provide technical support to other departments to resolve product-related challenges.
- Manage documentation, including the completion of product definition forms and briefing production teams on new features.
Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of chocolate, coloring, and production techniques.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for reporting and data management.
- A proactive, independent mindset with the courage to propose new ideas.
- Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with ingredient measurements and recipes.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and share knowledge openly.
- Experience or interest in working with product development equipment and machinery.
- A flexible, perseverant, and positive approach to problem-solving.
- An understanding of market trends and consumer requirements.
