The opportunity
We are seeking a Junior Logistics and Communications Specialist to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. In this role, you will serve as an on-site weapons system expert, providing essential technical support to ensure the success of the SF base defense warfighting mission. You will play a vital role in maintaining and integrating equipment, evaluating system performance, and ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of readiness and effectiveness.
A day in the life
- Provide comprehensive technical support for weapons systems, ensuring all equipment is fully integrated and sustained to meet mission requirements.
- Conduct thorough system evaluations and enforce operational requirements while providing regular updates to key personnel.
- Perform specialized training sessions to share your expertise and ensure team members are proficient in current systems and protocols.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least 6 years of military operational experience, specifically in training, operations, adaptive networking wideband communications, and weapons qualification. You possess 2 to 4 years of experience as an operator or instructor in expeditionary training, ideally within combat environments like Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom. You have a deep understanding of MAJCOM, AFFOR, and CCMD warfighter requirements, along with the ability to navigate complex military organizations and tactical policies. You are fluent in English, comfortable working on-site, and physically capable of performing demanding tasks, such as lifting 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions.
