OpenTag is a dedicated product company focused on transforming the B2C and B2B gaming sectors. We provide a comprehensive, state-of-the-art platform that supports operators globally with all their essential needs. We are currently looking for a Junior Golang Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Bulgaria. By joining us, you will work alongside a talented group of product owners, delivery managers, and technical experts to build a platform from the ground up that serves millions of users. This is a unique chance to help shape the future standards of the iGaming and sports betting industries.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside R&D leads to handle the full development lifecycle, including defining requirements, prototyping, designing, testing, and deploying features.
- Partner with our Delivery Managers and Product Owners to ensure that project scopes and timelines are consistently met.
- Participate in technical discussions and conduct code reviews to validate work and identify potential architectural or implementation improvements.
Requirements
- At least one year of commercial experience working with Golang, though we are happy to consider personal or freelance projects.
- A strong grasp of OOP principles and standard design patterns.
- Solid knowledge of the HTTP protocol and REST APIs, with practical experience building them.
- Proficiency using Git for version control.
- Experience working with SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Docker, gRPC, or messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ is considered a significant asset.
- A high level of proficiency in English to communicate effectively within our international team.
