HyperHug is an international game development studio dedicated to the shooter genre. While our headquarters are in Cyprus, our team operates remotely across the globe. We are the creators of Oxide: Survival Island, a multiplayer survival shooter for mobile devices, and we are currently seeking a motivated Junior Game Designer to join our ranks. What you'll be doing
- You will manage the configuration of game features directly within Unity to ensure they meet our production standards.
- You will handle content specifications for systems like battle passes, gacha mechanics, and live-ops events.
- You will balance game economies and mechanics by working extensively with spreadsheets and configuration files.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone with a strong technical or mathematical mindset who is eager to evolve into a systems or technical designer. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A background in math, programming, engineering, or game design.
- Solid mathematical skills, including a foundational understanding of probability and game economy.
- Basic programming knowledge and experience using Unity to prototype simple mechanics.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data management.
- A deep interest in multiplayer games, particularly survival shooters or MMORPGs.
- Fluency in both English at a B1 level or higher and Russian at a C1 level.
- A proactive, responsible approach to your work and clear communication skills.
