Junior Full-Stack Engineer at Onejar

We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Full-Stack Engineer to join our growing team at a company that is revolutionizing the fintech space. Our platform provides payment-provider orchestration, which allows businesses to manage and switch between various payment services seamlessly without the need to constantly rebuild their internal systems. What is this role?

This is a full-time, remote position designed for an engineer with approximately one year of professional experience. We are looking for someone eager to grow their skills across the entire stack, from the frontend interface to the backend API and data layers. You will work within a supportive team where you can take on increasing ownership of features as you gain confidence and product knowledge.

What will you do?

• Develop and enhance product features using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Collaborate on building and integrating REST APIs and managing relational data with PostgreSQL.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code CLI and Codex CLI into your daily workflow to build, refactor, and test code effectively.

• Around one year of practical experience, whether through professional roles, internships, or significant personal projects.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript or TypeScript and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React.
• A basic understanding of Node.js, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Git workflows and a willingness to engage with automated testing.
• A genuine interest in AI-assisted engineering, including the ability to critically review AI-generated output.
• Clear communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
