Junior Full Stack Engineer at Qualio

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Qualio, we are dedicated to helping life science teams launch and scale products that save lives. We have built a connected quality management platform that is trusted by hundreds of international customers, ranging from cutting-edge computational biology startups to major names in mRNA vaccine development. Our engineering department operates as a fully distributed team across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we are currently seeking someone to help us expand our platform capabilities as we grow.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with your product manager, team lead, and fellow engineers to design, implement, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that meet our high standards for performance and usability.
• Apply engineering best practices, including test-driven development, clean code principles, and automated CI/CD pipelines, to manage the full lifecycle of our product solutions.
• Maintain a proactive and positive approach in our fast-paced, agile environment while participating in architecture reviews and code discussions to ensure we build effective, scalable software.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python and Node.js, along with experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud services, including ECS, Lambda, EC2, and related infrastructure components like API Gateway and VPCs.
• Familiarity with OpenSearch and experience operating within Agile and DevSecOps environments.
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn new technologies, as we value the ability to adapt over strict adherence to a single language.
