Since our founding in 2019, UP42 has been dedicated to changing how organizations access and analyze Earth observation data. We provide a centralized platform that connects users with top-tier geospatial providers, enabling them to manage and process complex data for everything from disaster response to infrastructure monitoring. As part of the Neo Space Group since July 2025, we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the geospatial industry. We are currently looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer to join our Processing team in Germany, where you will help build the core engine that allows our users to explore satellite imagery and address global challenges like climate change.
What you'll be doing
- You will develop technical solutions to improve how our platform handles data management, storage, and processing efficiency.
- You will take ownership of specific tasks, such as feature releases or code refactoring, while ensuring your work meets our high standards for security and quality.
- You will collaborate with your team by participating in code reviews and sharing your knowledge during internal sessions.
What you'll bring
- Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS for building web applications.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Fluency in English and a collaborative mindset that thrives in a team environment.
- A willingness to work in a hybrid capacity based in Germany.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and a clear interest in web-based software design.
