The Business Intelligence Developer I will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data to provide actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making.

What does a day in the life of a Business Intelligence Developer look like?

Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations

Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using business intelligence tools

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide accurate and timely insights

Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular data validation and reconciliation

Analyze complex business problems and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure business performance

Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports

Collaborate with other departments to drive process improvements and operational efficiency

Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively present complex data

Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create compelling and informative visual representations of data

Customize dashboards to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders and departments

Train end-users on accessing and interpreting dashboards for informed decision-making

Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing data governance policies and procedures

Develop and implement data management strategies to maintain data accuracy and consistency

Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, storage, and access

Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and align data analysis efforts with business objectives

Communicate complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences

Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support on data-driven decision-makin

Adheres to company policies and procedures

Meets or exceeds performance targets for related KPI’s

Continuously improves knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules

Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times

Performs other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications of a Business Intelligence Developer?

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field preferred

Previous experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably in the call center environment

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

Solid understanding of SQL and database management

Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques is a plus

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity

Proficient in using computers and various software applications
