What you bring

As a Junior Backend/AI Engineer, you will play a vital role in our full-time, remote team by building the foundation of the Verisian Platform. You will work on sophisticated parsers for languages like SAS, R, and Python, transforming complex data into graphs that power our core products. Your work will directly influence our ability to fine-tune LLMs for code explanation and automated analysis. This position is open to candidates located anywhere.

• Develop and maintain robust parsers and backend analytics infrastructure.
• Execute extensive automated testing and participate in the full lifecycle of design, building, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement performance fixes to ensure our tools provide maximum impact for our users.

Requirements

We are looking for a developer who is comfortable working with Java and has a solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing. You should have a strong foundation in graph theory and a genuine interest in how programming languages and parsing algorithms function. We value candidates who possess a deep understanding of AI and ML concepts, particularly regarding LLM fine-tuning. Beyond your technical ability, we look for individuals who communicate clearly, value documentation, and thrive in an iterative, collaborative environment.
