We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our team in Singapore. Nas.io is on a mission to bring people together by building powerful tools that help creators, entrepreneurs, and brands grow their communities, and we are backed by US$23 million in funding to continue this work.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a robust web platform covering areas like messaging, payments, media handling, and AI-driven features.
Manage and monitor our infrastructure to ensure high performance, scalability, and system reliability.
Keep our codebase clean and modular while managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient delivery.
Collaborate directly with product and business teams to build and test high-quality features.
Troubleshoot customer issues and identify patterns to drive long-term system improvements.
Create and maintain internal tools to support our account management and operations teams.
Keep technical documentation and our knowledge base current.

Must-haves

At least 1 year of relevant technical experience.
Proficiency in AWS, Node.js, and MongoDB.
Strong grasp of web development fundamentals and a commitment to best practices.
A critical mindset for problem-solving and a willingness to explore new tools.
Strong sense of ownership and a collaborative spirit.
Professional proficiency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Python, Redis, and Grafana.
Familiarity with frontend technologies like React, Next.js, or Flutter.
