What is this role?
We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. This is a mid-level opportunity for a developer who is passionate about crafting elegant, scalable PHP solutions. Please note that we are unable to provide relocation assistance or visa sponsorship for candidates currently residing outside of the Netherlands.
What will you do?
- Develop robust and efficient backend systems using PHP.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code while contributing to our team coding standards through regular reviews.
- Commit to continuous learning by staying up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in the industry.

- At least 2 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with the Laravel framework is a major plus.
- A strong desire to grow as a developer, with bonus points if you have experience with unit testing, TDD, and SQL database design.
- Fluency in English.
