Job Title: Jr. Systems Programmer
Employment Status: Full-time OR Part-time non-exempt
Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, flexible hybrid options available
Location: Champaign, Illinois
Compensation: $29 - $32 per hour
*compensation may be negotiated based on experience level
As a Jr. Systems Programmer at Ketryx, you will use your previous scripting knowledge and data management experience to support the organization. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Support data research and management while keeping proprietary client information confidential.
- Maintain comprehensive and concise documentation of processes, findings, and recommendations.
- Assist in testing and implementing new applications.
- Provide remote technical support with a positive and calm attitude.
- Set up and configure devices and accounts with appropriate security access levels.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose issues, implement corrective action plan, and/or escalate as appropriate.
- Assist with technical projects as appropriate.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in administrative or technical role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong understanding of network concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with the desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.
- 1+ years of SQL command and scripting experience preferred.
- Experience with Shell script and/or Python preferred.
- Previous Help Desk experience preferred.
